Meet Linda
Linda is a sports and eating disorder dietitian passionate about helping people develop positive relationships with food. She originally majored in marketing at the University of Missouri, where she played college volleyball. Shortly after graduating, she went back to school at the University of Texas and earned a degree in nutrition and completed her dietetic internship. After graduating, Linda completed a Sports Nutrition Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her Master’s Degree in Nutrition with a sports nutrition emphasis from Auburn University. Linda currently serves as the sports dietitian for an athlete specific eating disorder treatment facility in Denver, Colorado.
Linda is a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) registered dietitian, and her passion lies in helping people develop positive and lasting relationships with food, body, and movement. She believes that often times, this involves unlearning diet culture messages that are common in our society and working through the process of relearning how to tune into and honor our own body’s wants and needs.
She specializes in working with athletes struggling with RED-S, disordered eating, and eating disorders. She also enjoys helping folks prepare for endurance and other athletic events that necessitate an intentional fueling strategy. Linda supports people in working through and challenging the unique pressures related to food and body that often arise in sport. She takes a non-diet approach, using evidence-based HAES, Intuitive Eating, and sports nutrition principles as the foundation of care to help people navigate these challenges.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, going to concerts, spending time with friends, taking pictures of sunsets, and soaking up all that Colorado has to offer.
